Meet The Team

Locally Known & Trusted For Over 10 Years

Our company is based in the Central Valley and many of our team calls Fresno their home. Education Behavior Consultants (EBC) has provided behavior intervention services and training to California schools over the last decade. Since we started, our client capacity has grown year after year, with a dramatic increase in requests for services following COVID, as schools found a need for increased support.

Expert Support For
Educators and Schools

EBC provides services and programs to students and classrooms, informed by the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, Cognitive Behavior Techniques, and Trauma-based Care. Our approach for individuals with educational and behavioral challenges focuses on minimizing challenging behaviors and maximizing skill levels for overall success at school.

We also strive to build capacity among credentialed, certified and classified staff by providing excellent training for paraprofessionals, teachers, and professional support staff (school psychologist, speech-language pathologists).

*We are flexible with the service design and can work with the needs of any district.

Supported Students Are
Successful Students

Our services are informed by the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, Cognitive Behavior Techniques, and Trauma-based Care and our team can work with classrooms and individual students of various ages and developmental and mental disabilities. Our team consists of RBTs (Registered Behavior Specialists), BCBAs (Board Certified Behavior Analysts) and BCBA-D (Board Certified Behavior Analyst – Doctoral).

The goal of our student and family services are to address behavioral concerns that impede the ability of the student and their peers to be successful in the classroom and are learning in the least restrictive environment. We focus on the generalization of skills with the goal of independence for each student.

Educational Services Backed By Proven Expertise

We are pleased to announce the launch of clinical ABA services in 2025 which will provide quality ABA for early intervention, after school & social skills programs, support for transitioning students to adulthood and parent training and education seminars. We do not have age limits and welcome those with challenging behavior.

We are led by four (4) Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), two of whom hold a Ph.D. and have the distinction of BCBA-D. As such, our depth of knowledge in evidence-based practice and the most recent research on curriculum, training and instruction as well as current topics affecting education and behavior are informed at the highest level.

Dr. Amanda Nicolson is a former Fresno State Associate Professor and was chair of the master’s program for the ABA track in the Department of Psychology. This background is part of the preparation that has helped to create a well-developed professional training program for other educators and related specialists.

We understand building curriculum, capacity and bringing the best evidence-based practices to this community.  We regularly deliver presentations at the state level and for districts.
