At Education Behavior Consultants, our work has always been about more than delivering services — it’s about showing up for families, building lasting relationships, and contributing to the communities we’re privileged to be part of. That’s why we’re honored to announce our partnership with San Diego Regional Center (SDRC) as an approved ABA therapy provider, joining a network of dedicated organizations committed to improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities across San Diego and Imperial County.

About San Diego Regional Center and the Community They Serve

San Diego Regional Center is one of 21 regional centers across California whose mission is to serve and empower persons with developmental disabilities and their families to achieve their goals — alongside and through community partners. SDRC connects residents of San Diego and Imperial County to services, resources, and support tailored to each individual’s needs, all with the goal of helping people live productive, fulfilling lives as valued members of their communities.

EBC is proud to stand alongside SDRC as one of those community partners. The work SDRC does to coordinate care, navigate systems, and advocate for individuals and families is foundational — and we don’t take lightly the trust that comes with being part of that network.

What This Partnership Means for Families

This partnership opens a new door for SDRC clients who may benefit from EBC’s approach to ABA therapy and behavioral support. Through EBC’s Clinical ABA Services, individuals can access early intervention, social skills training, and young adult and adult life skills programs — all delivered through a wraparound, family-centered model that keeps caregivers involved and informed every step of the way.

For school-aged children, EBC also offers school-based behavioral support designed to help students succeed in their home schools and least restrictive environments. Families who need continuity of support beyond the classroom can turn to EBC’s family support services, which extend evidence-based behavioral guidance into the home and community. Every service EBC provides is built around one question: what does this individual need to thrive?

Shared Values, Shared Purpose

SDRC’s vision — that persons with developmental disabilities will live productive and satisfying lives as valued members of their communities — mirrors exactly why EBC does this work. Our team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Registered Behavior Technicians operates from the same belief: every person deserves care grounded in compassion, shaped by evidence, and responsive to who they actually are.

We’re not here to replace the village it takes to support an individual and their family. We’re here to be part of it. Partnering with SDRC means EBC gets to contribute to something larger than any single program — a coordinated, community-wide commitment to helping individuals with developmental disabilities live the lives they deserve.

How to Connect with EBC Through SDRC

If you’re currently receiving services through San Diego Regional Center and are interested in learning more about what EBC offers, your SDRC service coordinator is the best place to start. They’ll help you determine which services are appropriate for your individual program plan and guide you through the process of connecting with EBC.

If you haven’t yet applied for SDRC services and believe you or a family member may be eligible, you can apply directly through SDRC’s website. Any San Diego or Imperial County resident believed to have a developmental disability is welcome to apply. Once you’re connected, EBC is ready to be part of your team.

You’re also welcome to reach out to EBC directly with any questions about our services, our approach, or what working together might look like for your family.
