After graduating with her business degree from Fresno State in 2017 and starting her career in the business world, Alexis decided this wasn’t the right fit for her. It was then that she began her journey to work with children with special needs as a paraprofessional in Clovis Unified. She started out her career in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2018 as a Registered Behavioral Technician. It was there that she found her passion for working with children with ASD. She has experience working in, not only the school setting, but also in the home and clinical setting.. In July 2022 she graduated with a Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis and is projected to sit for her BCBA in May of 2023. In her freetime she enjoys spending time with her family, eating, and traveling.
